It wasn’t all cherry blossoms {D.C. Part II}

Here are some more pictures from last weekend in D.C. On Sunday morning we stumbled across the farmers markets (which were just around the corner from our hotel) on our quest to find good coffee (thank you Lucent Imagery for the recommendation it was spot on!).

{Brussel sprouts looking fresh and gourmet. Since moving to NY I have a new-found love of the little vegetables that caused me so much angst as a child}

{Great coffee at the fantastic DolceZZa in Dupont Circle. I only wish it was warmer so we could have sampled the gelato}

{The pretty suburban streets. Seriously the central part of D.C is just so pretty}

{More flowers at the tulip display...flowers just make me want to smile}

{The cultural part of the weekend - the Washington National Cathedral}

{The grounds of the cathedral were more impressive than the cathedral itself. I'd love to live in a place that looks like this - if I didn't have to pay for the upkeep of the building!}
