Since heading back to work I have been on the look out for wear-to-work clothes. I have never been a huge fan of the suit so I need to find outfits that are suitably corporate but show enough personality to make dressing in the morning fun. In Sydney I would wear a dress almost every other day but recently I’ve been drawn to separates, especially trousers.
Although summer has officially ended on this side of the world I love these pastel jeans for autumn. The pop of colour from the pastel adds a bit of fun to the outfit. Imagine Cameron in the same outfit – white t-shirt, nude shoes and jacket but…with blue jeans. She would look amazing (I mean she looks amazing in almost anything she puts on) but in this instance the pastel jeans takes the outfit to whole new level.
Jessica was snapped in this outfit in May 2009 and when I saw the picture again, I feel in love with it all over again. I love that Jessica has mixed the blue with a peach coloured t-shirt. This colour combo is one I would never think of.
These Twenty8Twelve jeans by Sienna Miller in Baby Pink found on The Outnet are pretty much perfect and are a great price.
The ever popular children’s outfit the Romper made its way into fashionistas closets a few seasons ago and has been hanging around ever since. My hit prediction is that they will only get bigger this summer in Australia since numerous celebrities have been snapped in the US over summer in a Romper.
Jessica Alba is looking fantastic (and I know I’ve said this before). She seems to have gone back to wearing what suits her – gorgeous feminine pieces of clothing. And whether it’s on the red carpet or walking the streets of Paris she knows what looks good whilst keeping it comfortable. My favourite is the Christian Dior dress she wore to the Christian Dior Haute Couture show as shown below. It’s so pretty but the plaited belt just gives it a bit of an edge.
